2021.10.25 23:55 jgomez315 Just lost a fight because my Morgl healed icehowl
Literally came down to the last 12 health. Why the fuck would heals randomly target the opposite team???? That's so counter intuitive.
What happened was I went to heal my murk eye, but he died before the heal went off. So instead of targeting anyone on my team, you know, for a healing ability.... it targets the other team???
If the same situation happened with a targetable spell or attack, and the target died before the the action went off, the spell doesn't friendly fire. So why would it do so for heals?
I feel like the just kept the coding for spells in place for heals instead of differentiating them.
And it's not like I'm complaining about a random heal, or random attack. If the ability says random target then of course it should be able to hit any merc or token. But morgls heal is a targetable ability. Why would they keep the same logic in place for heals as spells? If I choose to heal my team, I should heal my team; the same way that if I target an attack on the opposite team and the target dies, I should still attack the opposite team and not friendly fire!
The logic needs to be flipped for targetable heals. It just makes no sense.

2021.10.25 23:55 mikeyz24 How to uninstall LOB(.MSI) Apps
New to Intune and still learning, so please take it easy... I have deployed Zoom via Intune to my clients via their 64bit .msi file. App is installed for everyone and all is good but I need to make a change to the "command line" argument so that I can modify some of the apps behavior. It's my understanding that in order for this to happen, I first need to uninstall the app and then install it again with the new command line arguments.
What is the best practice for uninstalling? Do I have to: * create a new LOB App * upload the same .msi * does the "app install context" have to match how the app was installed? If it was installed as "Device" then this one should also be the same context? Does it matter? * leave the command line args blank??? * then assign either a group or device under the Uninstall section of "Assignments" depending on what install context was used to install it originally?
If the above is the expected setup, does that mean I always have to have 2 versions of the "App" in endpoint? One for install and another one for uninstall? What is your setup like for uninstalling apps?

2021.10.25 23:55 a_cuppa_java I'm compiling a collection of Linux-related resources, tutorials, and articles to help anyone who wants to learn more about Linux. What are your favorite resources?
So far, I have Arch Wiki, Linux Journey, a Wikipedia article about the history of Linux, and Phoronix, just to give you an idea of what I mean. Doesn't have to be websites, books and other media are welcome too :) The goal of this project is to have a curated collection of Linux resources for any skill level. It could be for someone who just wants to find interesting articles about Linux, an absolute beginner who has no idea where to start, or a power user looking to deepen their understanding.
